Phase 0: Worms appear at night
Phase 1: initial parasites appear at night with a low chance
Phase 2: Parasites start spawning during the day with increased spawn rate
Phase 3: Parasites can break wooden blocks
Phase 4: passive animals (food sources) disappear
Phase 5: Large Parasites appear and can break blocks in a 3×3 area
Phase 6: red fog appears and visibility drops, food stops dropping
Phase 7: Parasites gain stat boosts, player can be killed in 1–2 hits
