Ordinary biomes become much darker when familiar sounds, lighting, and the behavior of the surroundings start to feel unsettling. The mod Horror Environment changes the atmosphere of Minecraft with thick fog, darkened locations, and random scary sounds. In forests, leaves can disappear, grass can suddenly catch fire, and creepy monsters also appear.
