Tanks

I built a Tank on the Workbench, placed it on the ground, and now it's ready to head into battle. Mod Tanks | Drivable Battle Tank lets you control a fully functional Tank and fire from it. The shells fly in an arc and explode on impact, and a special crosshair helps account for the distance to the target in Minecraft.

Realistic controls with inertia, forward and backward movement, and turning in place

Third-person camera with a view above the turret

Adjustable cannon elevation angle

Automatic targeting of nearby targets and projectile drop compensation

Hit indicator, aiming indicator, and projectile trajectory

Explosive shells without destroying blocks

Cannon reload time is 3 seconds

The Tank can climb 1-block-high steps and slows down in water

The tracks create dust, smoke, and movement sounds

Firing flash, recoil, dynamic lighting, and hit effects

A destroyed Tank explodes without dropping an item

Controls

Craft the Tank on the workbench

Place it in an open spot

Interact with the Tank to get inside

Use the movement keys to drive

Rotate the camera to aim the turret

Aim the crosshair at a block or mob and wait for the ON TARGET message

Press attack to fire

Crouch to exit
