The Lost Mobs Add-on 26.10+

Mojang used to hold mob votes to determine which creature would appear in future versions of Minecraft. Some creatures never made it into the game after the votes — they lost. The The Lost Mobs mod adds mobs that didn't manage to win.

For example, the Buttercup Cow loves dandelions, while the Firefly warns players about dark places where hostile mobs might spawn. You'll also encounter new enemies and useful creatures that make world exploration more diverse.

List of mobs

• The Great Hunger — is always hungry for tools. Give it an unenchanted tool, and it’ll return it with a random level I enchantment

• Wildfire — has high durability. First, you have to break all its shields before you can defeat it

• Barnacle — a dangerous sea creature that can drag the player into the depths. Don’t get too close, or you might get pulled into the abyss

• Buttercup Cow — absolutely loves dandelions

• Iceologer — throws huge blocks of ice

• Firefly — warns the player when it’s getting too dark nearby and hostile mobs might appear

• Tuff Golem — this little golem loves items

• Rascal — a small, sneaky mob that loves to play hide-and-seek. Find it to get a reward

• Crab — you can get a crab claw, which increases block placement range

• Penguin — if you seat it at the edge of a boat, it makes the boat move faster
