Gravestone – Auto Equip System Add-on 1.21+

No need to lose your entire inventory upon death anymore — it's better to keep it safe in a reliable Gravestone. The Gravestone – Auto Equip System mod makes dying in Minecraft much less frustrating. After you die, a Gravestone appears at the place of death, storing all your items and equipment.

When restoring the Gravestone, the auto-equip system kicks in — items are returned to their original slots. You also receive a Key with the coordinates of your death location, which you can use to summon a Reaper guide and easily find your way back.

Different types of graves are supported depending on the cause of death, including unique and secret options, and if you die in dangerous places the gravestone will be moved to a safe spot.
