Vanilla Instruments Add-on 1.17+

Vanilla Instruments

There are so many different add-ons, but there is something unique and interesting? If so, then the new Vanilla Instruments add-on is exactly the add-on you need. The new add-on adds new functional vanilla-style tools. In total, sixteen new playable items will be added to the game, as well as three music items and one music block.

Players can craft these blocks both in creative mode and during survival. Gather your friends and use new unique musical blocks and items to create your own music. Let's see how it works below.

Features of the add-on and how it works

As mentioned earlier, the new add-on adds new functional tools in the vanilla style, namely sixteen new playable items, as well as three music items and one music block. Players can craft these blocks both in creative mode and during survival.

New instruments will play music when using certain items. In order for players to change notes, they just need to look up or down. In general, this add-on is quite easy to use, so don't worry about it. Let's take a look at all the new musical instruments below.

Instruments

The first tool that we will look at is called the Scale Guide. This tool allows players to see in the game on the Hotbar which note you have chosen to play.

Below you can see a video of how it works:

The second item is called Note Guide. This tool shows the player where to aim so that he can, in turn, select a note.

The last instrument is called the Tuner. This tool allows players to change the pitch of sounds to one of the two available octaves.

Above were presented additional tools that can easily facilitate your gameplay and the use of musical instruments. Now is the time to introduce the other sixteen basic musical instruments, each of which reproduces specific sounds. Please note that each specific type of music unit will play a specific sound.

1. Guitar made of oak;
2. Birch banjo;
3. Dark oak bass;
4. Harp made of spruce;
5. Deepslate Bass Drum;

In order for players to use new musical instruments and blocks, they need to be crafted. To do this, the player must first craft a special music table. Crafting recipe below:

Please note that players can find all other crafting recipes in the crafting table, but still, the video below can also provide you with this information for a better understanding:

Attention: It is important to know that as soon as the player spawns for the first time in the Minecraft world, he must either use the Tuner (at least once) or use the / function command with the following text: music_reset. This must be done before the musical blocks and instruments play music.

Players can find all the necessary items in the creative menu in the construction section.

Do not forget to activate the Experimental game settings in order for the add-on to work correctly!
