Minecraft 26.50.26 for Android

Developers have released a test version of Minecraft 26.50.26 for Android. This one keeps polishing Drop 3 of 2026 and clears out another 27 bugs along the way.

Drop 3 2026

More fine-tuning for the drop. Highlights:

• Abandoned Camp
  • Camps are now far less likely to plop down right on top of a Village
  • Sorted out missing trees in the Cherry Grove and Old Growth Birch Forest campsites
• Cushion
  • Fishing Rod bobbers now break Cushions reliably instead of slipping straight through them
  • Can now be tucked into non-full blocks that already have a Cushion sitting on top
  • No longer possible to stack one Cushion onto another by moving quickly
  • Can no longer be renamed with a Name Tag
  • No longer swallow vibrations when placed, broken, or interacted with
• Red Shrubs no longer flicker when placed against each other in multiplayer
• Wool Stairs and Slabs can no longer be thrown into the painting recipe
• Recolored a whole batch of Poplar items on maps so they match how they actually look in-game
• The right subtitles now show up when jumping and landing on a Straw Bed or a Shelf Mushroom
• Straw Bed pillows now render properly when two beds sit side by side

Bug Fixes

Fixed 27 bugs. Details:

• Comparators can once again read a container's inventory through Honey Blocks and Chains
• Pulled back self selection expansion for commands like /tell when used by non-operator players
• Vibrant Visuals no longer switch themselves off when loading a world with Education features on
• Foxes finally hold the Shelf Mushroom properly in their mouths
• Poplar door hinges now catch the light with a metallic sheen
• Patched triangular gaps that could show up where water meets a bank or spills over a lip
• Bumped the maximum view distance up to 48 for Vibrant Visuals on Windows
• Refreshed the main menu cube map
• Fixed the yellow tail parrot fish carrying the wrong name
• Squashed a crash when opening Realms Edit World, which hit iOS devices especially hard
• Worlds with chunks saved before block connection upgrades no longer get stuck while loading
• Sorted out an issue that could boot players offline while loading worlds with certain add-on content
• No more stuttering after long play sessions or leaving the game suspended for a while
• Trimmed the memory used by animated Character Creator skins
• Poplar hanging sign visuals now line up with the other signs
• Cleaned up button touch areas that didn't line up in windowed Android modes like Samsung DeX
• Screen narration now reads out the first focused element after opening the Pause Menu
• Party leaders no longer get a bogus "Your party is too large" message when using Join Game on a friend outside their party
• The Shelf Mushroom now sits at the correct scale in inventory slots
• Blocked soft-locks when the game can't reach a server
• The gamepad cursor no longer turns choppy after long sessions
• Added an option to mute a player while reporting their chat messages
