Minecraft 26.50.24 for Android

Developers have released a test version of Minecraft 26.50.24 for Android. This update rounds out the final features heading into testing for the third game drop of 2026 - fresh Explorer Maps tucked away in abandoned camps and a full set of concrete stairs and slabs to build with. On top of that, there's a solid pile of bug fixes and tweaks.

Drop 3 2026

Reworked features of the new drop. Highlights:

• Chests in Abandoned Camps now hold Explorer Maps that point the way to Ancient Cities, Mineshafts, Desert Pyramids, Warm Ocean Ruins, and other biome variants of Abandoned Camps
• Added Concrete Stairs and Concrete Slabs in all 16 colors
• Poplar Leaves can now be smelted down into Leaf Litter
• Cushion
  • No longer drops you into the ground when its supporting block is knocked out
  • Now breaks if the block beneath it is swapped for a liquid
  • A renamed Cushion no longer drops a plain default item when broken
  • Name Tags now show up on the Cushion
  • Pops into an item when shoved by blocks
  • Plays breaking particles and a sound when its support is destroyed
• Reshuffled the Poplar items in the Creative inventory for a tidier layout
• Straw Bed
  • Fixed the sleeping camera sitting too high above the player
  • Cleaned up the texture so there are no stray or floating pixels

Bug Fixes

Fixed 14 bugs. Details:

• Reined in the growth speed of Sulfur Spikes and Pointed Dripstone after a slip-up had them growing 25 times too fast
• Gave Explorer Maps new icons that hint at where they'll take you
• The Player Map icon now shows its rotation even when you wander off the edge of the map
• Sorted out Totem activation failing to sync health when the final total matched the original
• No more loading in at (0,0,0) and losing every item after a world reload
• In-game models and textures now load properly if your connection shifts while joining a world
• Squashed the item-in-hand jitter with temporal anti-aliasing upscaling turned on
• Spiders and Cave Spiders no longer get randomly slowed down by Web blocks
• Skins can now be named using only numbers
• Realm role actions now display correctly for the right roles
• Friend profiles now sport a Realm-specific join button when the Realm is up
• Patched a crash while grabbing network addresses on Android
• Reined in CPU usage climbing after idling on the pause or controller-disconnect screen
• Fixed user interface bugs
