Minecraft 26.50.25 for Android

Developers have released a test version of Minecraft 26.50.25 for Android. This update polishes up Drop 3 of 2026, brings 4 changes, and squashes 23 bugs.

Drop 3 2026

Refined the drop's features. Highlights:

• Abandoned Camp
  • Seagrass now always sits underwater where it belongs
  • Cleared out duplicate Cushions from a couple of campsite structures
  • Barrels can now turn up holding a White Cushion and a Straw Bed
  • Firework Rockets swapped out for Gunpowder in the loot tables
  • Explorer Maps looted here no longer send you to a camp in the very same biome
• Cushion
  • Can now share space with Honey Blocks, Chains, and Sniffer Eggs
  • Breaking particles now appear at the Cushion itself rather than the block underneath
  • The sitting hint now reads "Press SHIFT to get up", lining up with Java Edition
  • Spawning one without a color, say via /summon, gives you White instead of Black
  • Players can no longer break it in Adventure mode
• Poplar Leaves now show their proper color on Explorer Maps
• Straw Beds break quicker when you swing a Hoe at them
• Wool and Concrete Stairs, Slabs, and Double Slabs no longer always drop themselves when blown up with the tntExplosiondropDecay rule on
• Wool Stairs and Slabs no longer send out vibrations when their item hits the ground
• Wool Stairs and Slabs now break faster with Shears, just like regular Wool
• Flowing water in the Dappled Forest is no longer opaque

Changes

Made 4 changes. Worth noting:

• Cherry, Pale Oak, and Poplar Saplings are no longer flammable, falling in line with every other Sapling
• Recolored the Red Shrub on maps to Crimson Nylium
• Recolored the Shelf Mushroom on maps to Terracotta Yellow
• Multiple Jukeboxes can now spin the same record independently of each other

Bug Fixes

Fixed 23 bugs. Details:

• Ladders, Vines, and Twisting Vines can no longer be stuck onto Chains
• Lanterns and Bells can no longer dangle from the underside of horizontal Chains
• Renamed the structures listed on Explorer Maps
• Concrete Stairs and Slabs can now be cut in the Stonecutter across all 16 colors
• Saplings now grow even with Leaves sitting above them
• Lava lakes no longer swap out nearby beds or doors for stone when one generates inside a village
• Sorted out the sky rendering oddly when viewed through boats in Vibrant Visuals
• Small Sulfur Cubes and lit TNT Sulfur Cubes can now be scooped up with a Bucket properly
• Using a Bucket from a stack bigger than eight no longer conjures extra Buckets
• Chains no longer block mobs from spawning in the space below them
• Using a lava bucket on a Cow no longer hands you a milk bucket
• Husks and Zombies now hang onto their held and equipped gear when turning into Zombies and Drowned
• The Red Shrub finally plays its correct sound
• Cleaned up the subtitles for using a Straw Bed and breaking a Cushion
• Flying over or through water with entities nearby no longer causes a crash
• Trimmed main thread work during world load by dropping some redundant caching
• Fixed user interface bugs
• Various other bugs and glitches ironed out
