Minecraft 1.21.90.23 for Android
Developers have released a test version of Minecraft 1.21.90.23 for Android. This update makes 8 changes and fixes 29 bugs.
Changes
Made 8 changes. Important ones:
- Vibrant Visuals
- Glass blocks reflect more light
- Changed metallic parts of Cauldrons and Ancient Debris
- Updated emission for Glow Berries and Glow Lichens
- Added emission for End Crystal
- Improved textures for Happy Ghast and Harness
- No longer applies to worlds where the mode is not supported
- Player Locator works without Experimental settings
- Chat background transparency changes with a new accessibility setting
Version Parity
Made 1 change for Bedrock-Java parity. Properties:
- Parrots less frequently imitate nearby monsters
Bug Fixes
Fixed 29 bugs. Main ones:
- Harness displays on Happy Ghast even when equipped through a Dispenser
- Empty icon of an open Bundle displays correctly when used on touch devices
- Attempting to delete Structures doesn't cause the delete button to disappear
- Minecraft doesn't freeze when saving a large construction in a Structure Block
- Projectiles fire in the correct direction when using custom camera and touch controls
- Sprint-jumping attack doesn't cause loss of momentum
- Fixed duplication of equipped items in Creative mode
- Hitting a block while swimming doesn't slow down the character
- Fixed crashes on PS5 when loading worlds with tethered creatures
- Ghasts can move while shooting Fireballs
- Slimes and Magma Cubes don't jump twice when finding or losing a target
- After death, Slimes and Magma Cubes don't damage the character
- Parrots imitate the correct sounds of Drowned and Wither Skeletons
- Fixed Splash Potion range
- Stack size changing and transfer to Bundle works on touch devices
- "Text Background Opacity" setting affects hotbar tooltips and leaderboard display
- Leather Armor textures no longer have emission with Vibrant Visuals
- Fixed display of particles and elements with Vibrant Visuals
Technical Changes
